Revive us, O Lord!

What do you think of when you hear the word thirsty? You may think of water or a deep desire or need. How do you take care of thirst? You find something to quench that thirst of course. Have you ever been thirsting for something and you can't put your finger on what it is? You keep searching for satisfaction in things of this world, but no matter what you achieve or accumulate, no lasting satisfaction can be found. In Psalm 63, David talks about thirsting for God. See, David had it figured out because he knew that true satisfaction only comes from God and finding peace and contentment in knowing God is in control of all circumstances and He will work it all together for good. True happiness comes from knowing Christ and having a relationship with him. We have to recognize that thirsting for God and pursuing him will bring satisfaction. When we, as it says in the book of James, draw nigh to God, He will draw nigh to us. That's what revival is all about, thirsting for God and pursuing him. When we do this, we will find revival. This comes with a three verse lesson, a traceable, and a link to another traceable and video from Scribbling Grace. The artwork for the entry of Ephesians 5:14 is also inspired by one of Scribbling Grace's posts on her website: https://www.scribblinggrace.com/abstractsun/
